During my short stint in Miami, I hadn’t initially planned on exploring coffee shops. However, stumbling upon one on my final day filled me with regret that I hadn’t discovered it sooner. They say it’s all about location, and this gem was strategically positioned across renowned South Beach hotels like the Sagamore, National, Delano Beach Club, The Ritz (which was unfortunately closed), and Loews. This prime spot ensured a bustling mix of happy travelers and locals alike.
Let me introduce you to Rosetta, a specialty bakery that boasts divine Italian breads, mouthwatering pastries, delectable pizza, and sandwiches to make your taste buds sing. The interior exudes brightness and warmth, with a couple of particularly attractive patrons immersed in their laptops, soaking up the people-watching vibe and delightful ambiance.
Now, why did I have to include this bakery/coffee shop on my list? Simple – the potential to meet men here is off the charts. With a steady stream of visitors throughout the day, thanks to its popularity, you encounter a diverse array of individuals – from locals to tourists. The beachfront hotels across the way attract a mature and intriguing crowd, all drawn in for some exceptional food.
The staff’s friendliness sets a welcoming tone, making it a breeze to strike up conversations about the mouthwatering selection or inquire about a person’s origin. Though my time was short-lived, it left an indelible impression. Here’s a tip: Apparently, there are Rosettas all over Miami. So, why settle for room service or fast food when you can relish their fabulous breakfast selection and perhaps discover a sprinkle of love in the process?
Traveling and meeting new people have a certain magic – you never know who might turn into a lifelong friend or, perhaps, a lover. Take my dear girlfriend, for instance. She embarked on a girl’s trip to Spain, crossed paths with a Californian man, stayed connected, and eventually found love. They are now engaged and happily living together.
